Whether it is a lack of cabinets, drawers or hanging space, sometimes such “little things” can keep us awake at night.

However, there are solutions that will help you get the most out of the space you have and that every thing finally gets its place and makes your sleeping space perfect.

Below are seven suggestions to help you make this journey easier.

1. Put a shelf in the bottom of the bed where you can put things

Find a shelf that is the same height as your bed and place it on the bottom of it and fill it with things that would otherwise make you cramped around the room. These can be books, decorative pillows, blankets … You can also put baskets in the empty pieces and put things in them. The bench will also come in handy as a place to sit.

2. Turn the door into a storage compartment

Buy door hooks or put a bar on the inside and hang things that usually end up on your armchair or chair like bags, jackets, shirts, umbrellas … Just make sure your door doesn’t get messy and cluttered.

3. Position the shelves near the ceiling

If you are chronically short of space, place shelves as high as possible on your walls. That way, you won’t mind as you move around the room, and will be a great place to put away things, especially ones you don’t use every day.

4. Make the most of nightstands

If you want to have nightstands in your room when making a purchase, make sure they are as usable as possible. Buy drawers with drawers so that you can put as many things as you can on them, such as jewelry, underwear, socks …

5. Use storage baskets

Baskets are ideal for all those things you keep on your bed during the day, such as blankets or decorative pillows. Before bedtime, put them all in baskets and avoid clutter in the bedroom, which, among other things, has a negative effect on sleep.
